OGUN ASSEMBLY CONFIRMS TASUED STATUS

Sequel to various public outcries on the status of Tai Solarin University of Education, the Ogun State House of Assembly has thrown its weight behind Africa’s second University of Education saying “TASUED has come to stay”

In a recent publication in the National Mirror newspaper credited to a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Remmy Hassan recently declared that “any higher institution established by law could not just be de-listed on the pages of newspapers as erroneously reported. If those laws are still in place, it means those schools are also still in existence. So people should not entertain any fear over the hear say that the government has scrapped the school” he emphasized

In another development, the National Universities Commission (NUC) has recognised TASUED as one of the Universities that met with the requirements for running part-time programmes in the country and are eligible to apply for approval of programme by programme basis
