POLYTECHNIC OF IBADAN CLARIFY GRADUATES ON NYSC MOBILISATION

The authorities of the Polytechnic Ibadan has come out to clarify over the inability of the institution to mobilise its graduates for the 2012/2013 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exercise.
This was made know to news men by the school Public Relations Officer (PRO) Alhajisladoye Adewole.
Alhaji Sladoye Adewole, expound that there was a dispute between the school and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Further Speaking, Soladoye said that “the delay in the mobilisation of our graduates for NYSC this year was due to issues between the school and NBTE which I can tell you authoritatively has now been resolved.
“The NYSC acted on the instruction of NBTE which stated that our graduates should not be mobilised and that was why none of them was part of the batch A in March. But as I speak with you, the NBTE has written the NYSC telling them to mobilise all graduates from The Polytechnic Ibadan for batch C camp which opens in November 2013.”
