Yaba College Of Technology-YABATECH Commences Nd Full-Time Application for 2013/2014 Admission

Schoolnews9ja wish to notify the general public, that the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) has concede endorsement for the Yaba College of Technology [YABATECH] to, administrate new programmes at the National Diploma(ND) level.



With this information, the academic institution is now using this platform, to invites application from all interested, but suitably qualified candidates for admission through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board [JAMB] for the 2013/2014 academic session as advertised for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for the following programmes.

1. ND Agricultural and Bo – Environmental Engineering Technology [School of Engineering] 2. National Diploma (ND) Marine Engineering Technology.

[School of Engineering] 3. National Diploma (ND) Marketing.

[School of Management& Business Studies] 4. National Diploma (ND) Polymer Technology.

[School of Technology.] ENTRY REQUIREMENTS


The entry requirements into the programmes are as follows:

1. National Diploma (ND) Agricultural and Bio – Environmental Engineering Technology.

Five [5] credit passes at SSCE and not more than [2] sittings in the following compulsory subjects:

Physics.

Chemistry.

Mathematics.

English Language

and any other one from the following subjects.

Biology.

Economics.

Further Mathematics.

Technical Drawings.

Geography.

2. National Diploma (ND) Marine Engineering Technology.

Five [5] credit passes at SSCE and not more than two (2) sittings in the following compulsory subjects:

Physics.

Chemistry.

Mathematics.

English Language

and any other one from the following:

Biology,

Economics,

Further Mathematics,

Technical Drawing,

Geography

Yaba College of Technology does requires a Credit in the following subjects.

Physics.

Chemistry.

Mathematics.

English Language

and other one from the following subjects mentioned below:

Biology,

Economics,

Further mathematics,

Technical Drawing,

Geography.

3. National Diploma (ND) Marketing.

English Language (not Literature in English) and Mathematics and any three subjects from the following subjects:

Economics,

Commerce,

Business Methods,

Principle of Accounts,

Literature in English,

Geography,

Government,

Biology/Agricultural Science Statistic, History

Yaba College of Technology also requires five (5) Credit at not more than two (2) sittings which must include the following subjects:

Mathematics,

English Language,

Economics

and other relevant subjects as specified above.

4. National Diploma (ND) Polymer Technology.

Five (5) credit passes at SSCE at not more than two (2) sittings in the following compulsory subjects:

Mathematics,

Physics,

Chemistry.

Mathematics.

and two other one subjects from the following:

Economics.

Technical Drawing/Art.

Further Mathematics.

Biology/Agriculture Science.

English Language.

Metal Work.

Wood Work.

At least credit passes in English Language and Biology are compulsory.
